What is Socialism?

Friend, you cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. And what one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government can't give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody. And when half of the people get the idea they don't have to work because the other half's going to take care of them, and when the other half get the idea it does no good to work because somebody's going to get what I work for. That, dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

What is socialism, really? Well, if you haven't figured out what Obama socialism is by now, let me fill you in. Obama socialism is full government control of nearly every single aspect of your life. And as with all socialism, this means government ownership of private corporations. In short, the government directly runs the economy.

Of course, the mad Libs who have a slobbering love affair with Obama socialism, and who love the "socialism vs capitalism" dualism duel to keep people angry and divided (divide and conquer), and who own the main stream media, say that America is not a socialist nation. Why, just because the government wants to make repairs to the economy, give handouts ("bailouts"), take ownership stakes in banks and some other businesses, and tax those who have to give to those who don't deserve (such as by taxing the average American to pay for $729,000 houses that were bought by people who had no damn business buying them), while creating make-work bills that are about as logical and efficient as hiring people to dig a trench from New York City down to Miami using teaspoons, no, that's not socialism!

Colin Powell insists he is still a Republican but he supported Obama. His rationalization was that the people don't want to hear Democrats being called socialists, that taxes are used to better the general state of the nation, that we have real problems to solve and the GOP just wanted to play political games. Powell thus proved to me that he is either an idiot or a racist (and probably the latter). The fact of the matter is that socialism is as socialism does. And Obama and Reid and Pelosi and Maxine Waters and Dennis Kookoonitch and nearly every other Democrat in power is in fact a socialist. There are even 60 or more Democrats in the federal government who are literal card-carrying members of the Socialist Party--and our President is one of them.

What is socialism or what we would call progressivism? It is the government in full control central of the economy in every aspect--and therefore, in full control of just about your entire life.

HOW THE SOCIALISM VS CAPITALISM AGENDA HAS BEEN FURTHERED IN THE UNITED STATES

The U.S. was founded in capitalism. Capitalism is what has made this nation great--imperfect yes, but greater than any other nation. Yet, socialists despise this nation and despise capitalism. See if any of the following socialist agenda concepts ring any bells with you concerning what you hear in the news all the time.

• The United States is institutionally a nation of oppression.
• Leftist Liberal politicians are needed to "correct" the United States. The United States must also be controlled by the United Nations.
• All post-9/11/2001 national security measures taken by the U.S. government while Bush was President were disguised attacks on our liberties.
• Virtually all American foreign military actions are immoral and thinly disguised attempts at imperialistic world domination.
• We must have mass immigration made easy and totally open borders. Illegal aliens must also be given social welfare benefits.
• We need a vast expansion of social welfare programs--which will be paid for by ever-increasing taxes, especially on "the rich" who all earn "too much" and pay "too little" but which won't be limited to just them.
• Terrorists who hate the United States and those who aid and abet them must be given equal legal rights as if they are U.S. citizens.
• The U.S. needs to drastically reduce its military spending and probably shrink its military.
• The death penalty is absolutely never justified and must be abolished
.
• The U.S. needs government-controlled socialized medicine under which all adults will be forced to buy health insurance.
• We need radical environmentalism, the agenda of which is "not clean air and clean water, [but] rather...the demolition of technological/industrial civilization," as Michael Berliner explains.
• We must always give preferences in education and business to all people who are not white males regardless of any proven performance or probable ability.
• Homosexual cohabitation and "marriage" are exactly the same thing.
• Taxpayers must be forced to pay for abortions, even if they are personally opposed to abortions or don't believe in the type of abortion they are paying for such as partial-birth.
• We must have strict citizen gun-control laws. The 2nd Amendment referred only to militias (National Guardsmen), not private citizens.

CONCLUSION

What is socialism? Why, socialism is as socialism does. Obama socialism must be annihilated--before we are.
