Illegal Immigration

Illegal immigration is one of the worst problems that we face in this nation. Our nation has been made great by immigration; we are a nation of immigrants; and part of our enormous power lies in the fact that we are more welcoming of immigrants than any other nation on the planet. However--we have rules and regulations about immigration. Illegal immigration is not our strength--it is a cancer. And, when we learn about the ideas of Obama on illegal immigration, we realize that illegal immigration is a cancer that has come about through a hidden agenda.

Essentially, Obama says nothing about illegal immigration. If pressed, he will tell you that illegals only come here because they seek better opportunity. If pressed further, he'll do what he always does and blame the demon named "Bush!".

Well, Bush did exacerbate this problem. The Bush Administration was a waffle when it came to illegal immigration. But we know the problem: Bush bent over backwards too many times to try to "reach across the aisle" to Liberal Democrats. On illegal immigration, that's precisely what he did, because he was a RINO. John McCain would have done no better.

But the fact is that immigration amnesty is just one more perverse Liberal Democrat policy. One of the main sponsors of the bills that would do all kinds of evil in this nation is Ted Kennedy. Democrat Diane Feinstein is also a key player. Barack Obama offers zero support for illegal immigration crackdowns. And there's one standout reason for this: illegal immigrants can be used as his new Chicago-style mob.

A 2005 Government Accountability Office study tells us that incarcerated illegal aliens were charged with over 84,000 violent crimes, including almost 6000 murders. 38% of illegal immigrants to this nation, over half of whom come just from Mexico, have been arrested--not for being illegals, but for committing crimes once they got here. Many Mexican illegals are gang members or become gang members. Illegal aliens crowd our prisons in many areas, forcing us to build new ones--all at taxpayer expense.

The ideas of Obama on illegal immigration mirror and enhance those of Bush and the RINOs: well, we can't stop them. So let them all in. And, force American taxpayers to pay for them. And, they deserve taxpayer-funded medical treatment. And, they are more important than American poor people. Their background checks need to be completed within 24 hours of their being picked up (that's just absurd, people). If they are gang members and they renounce being in gangs, accept their word and finance them with taxpayer money.

You see, these are the kinds of people who Barack Obama needs to win him elections. Thugs and those who will "vote early and vote often"--each one of them!

The companies who hire these illegals over Americans have a conflict of interest going on. They want to hire people for as low a wage as they can. On the other hand, American citizens, who pay the taxes that the illegals don't, who are forced to finance illegals in their daily lives, cannot afford to work for $12,000 a year because our standard of living is so much higher than Mexico's. $12,000 a year in Mexico is like $80,000 a year here. For picking cabbage and packing meat.

These companies need to be punished, and the illegals need to be rounded up and deported. We can't stop all the murders and rapes in this country, either--but we have laws against these things, and we find and arrest and prosecute as many perpetrators as we can, leaving those who "got away" to live in fear.

The strangest of bedfellows--Libertarians and Liberals--generally come together on this issue of awarding this amnesty. They cite the byzantine immigration laws of our country. They're right in that we need to streamline them. They're wrong to say that just because of that, illegals are okay.

And, the Democrat/RINO backed amnesty bills would drastically reduce the size of the border fence to less than 1/4th its currently scheduled size. That's transparency for ya.

So--what could We the People do to stop Barack Obama's thinly disguised plan to unleash mob rule, and stop the complicit companies from using cheap labor to harm the American citizen? Here are some ideas that we need to write and petition for:

• Stop making our troops police the world for everybody else, and instead bring many of them home to police our borders instead.
• Don't shorten the wall--build one that runs the entire length of the border between Mexico and the U.S. from the Pacific to the Atlantic.
• Stop prosecuting border guards who harm or kill illegals in the line of duty. If you try to enter the U.S. illegally and you are harmed, that should be your problem. If an illegal gets shot and killed by a border guard doing his duty, too bad so sad.
• Shut down all companies who knowingly hire illegal aliens. Force them into bankruptcy and auction off all of their assets to people who would be more responsible.
• Immediately send out the word that all illegal immigrants have only one month to leave the country. If they do so in that time, they are eligible to legally apply for U.S. citizenship and work visas. If they fail to leave in that time and get caught, they will be conscripted into helping build the aforementioned fence. They will be paid fairly, but once the work is done they are sent home--and never allowed to apply for U.S. citizenship.

Illegal immigration is just part of Emperor Dumbo's plans for Chicago street thug-style politics. We cannot let it go on.
