What is the redistribution of wealth? It is the idea that those who have money are supposed to give it away to those who don't have money. Now, we are not talking about charity--for it is well established by plenty of research that most of those who have the most give the most. There are always a few Scrooges there and there, but what can you do? There are always a few bad drivers on the highways and by-ways, but that doesn't mean we get rid of cars, does it?
In a 2001 Chicago Public Radio Interview Obama is discussing the best way to bring about a Redistribution of Wealth!!!
Yet, the redistribution of wealth punishes people for having money. It forces people to give to "charities" that they don't necessarily desire to give to. It is socialism through and through. It says that those who have only exists to give to those who don't have. Who cares, by the way, why those who don't have don't have? It only matters that those who have have, and those who don't don't.
When people who have give to charities, they are voluntarily giving money away to causes and people that they feel need the help of people who can give it. This is very noble. But, as the richest man, and greatest philanthropist, in American history, Andrew Carnegie, said in so many words, one of the things that most strongly holds back the advancement of the race of mankind is the unreflecting and indiscriminate giving of charity.
Well, taxing people to "force them" to give to charity is as indiscriminate as it gets.
As Margaret Thatcher said in so many words, the problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money. That is, the redistributors don't produce anything--they just (in the words of the Red Hot Chili Peppers) give it away give it away give it away give it away now. It's easy to just give away other people's money or production. It takes next to no effort. But eventually, those who produce cannot afford to produce because all that they earn gets taken away from them.
So. What does the Obama redistribution of wealth mean for you?
Barack Obama believes that anyone who is earning more than about $75,000 per year (as an individual) in this nation must be punished. Check the numbers if that sounds insane (for the concept is, indeed, insane). But that is what he believes, and it is obvious. If you make money, there's something wrong with you. You don't deserve it. He believes in dispossession (as long as it's not him who has to go through it).
Barack Obama believes that our already-semi-socialist healthcare system must be done away with--made completely socialist--because the vast majority of Americans use too much of it. If the government controls the money that goes into healthcare--which it will achieve through enormous taxation, which is the tool of the redistribution of wealth --then he and the Congress can tell you how to conduct the most important aspect of your life, which is your own personal health.
Barack Obama does not care if the economy loses jobs, because according to his philosophy Americans (other than him) don't deserve the good things that they have. We might personally feel the same way about some people, and we know that at least some of those times we are correct; but to have a blanketing generalization that indicts the whole nation is nothing less or other than perverse. Obama will magisterially decide which one of "you" deserves such-and-such.
Barack Obama wants you to pay, and pay, and pay just for being wealthy,if you are (and his cut-off for this is $250,000--only half of Bill Clinton's $500,000 mark from a day when a Dollar went farther than it does today). It matters not if you had a great idea that moved countless numbers of people, a new invention, a magnificent innovation, a huge artistic success--if you are wealthy, you are wicked. And why are you wicked? Because you have more power than Barack Obama and his Congressional minions, that's why.
Is this what you want? Is this socialism a society of justice? Of course not. Nuff said already.
