Ronald Reagan Biography

Let's face it: the modern Leftist Liberal movement, which has become embodied by the Democrats, doesn't want you to read any kind of Ronald Reagan biography. Leftist Liberals want to kill the the legacy of Ronald Reagan, and they will tell you that for you to read a biography of Ronald Reagan is like a Christian or a Jew reading the Satanic Bible.

All manner of lies are spread about Ronald Reagan by the Left today. Isn't it ironic how the Left love to make snide remarks like "Reagan was just an actor", and then say in so many words that we don't need a mere actor in the White House. This is ironic because, well, what else do they believe Barack "Emperor Dumbo" Obama is? He's just an actor who played a slimy defense lawyer and was never good enough to get into the movies. The brilliant black economist Dr. Thomas Sowell, not long before November 4th of 2008, wrote, "Ronald Reagan had a vision for America. Barack Obama has a vision for Barack Obama."

Ronald W. Reagan was able to reach right through the TV screen (there was no Internet to reach through in his day) and right through the radio and make you feel as if you and he were having a very important, private conversation. Although he never had the advantage of having Republicans control the Congress in even one single year of his eight Presidential years, he initiated policies that went a very long way toward destroying the evil force that was the Soviet Union. He greatly beefed up the American military. He cut government spending while Americans became, on the whole, wealthier than ever before, and as the United States further differentiated itself as the wealthiest nation ever created by mankind in all of mankind's recorded history, ancient or modern.

The legacy of Ronald Reagan is a legacy of telling it like it is, even in politics. Ronald Reagan called the Soviets an "evil empire". Almost all of his advisors warned him not to do that. They were afraid of the backlash from Reagan being "confrontational". Yet, Reagan said it anyway, because he knew what he was talking about. Reagan would tell people that government is a problem, not a solution. He would tell people that America was the "last, best hope" for the whole world. He would even agree with the truth when it came from a non-Republican source: Reagan agreed with the most fascist, Left-wing President (before Emperor Dumbo) in American history, Franklin D. Roosevelt, that welfare is "a narcotic, a subtle destroyer of the human spirit".

Ronald Reagan biography

The legacy of Ronald Reagan is a legacy of cutting taxes while raising more federal taxes than any Presidential administration, before him or since him, in terms of real dollars, in American history. Liberals love to say that Reagan failed to balance the budget (as if there is nothing more important). Well, Reagan spent his entire career in the White House dealing with an at least partially Democrat-controlled Congress--so what do you expect? But the fact is, if Reagan collected more tax revenues than any other President, and cut domestic spending as he had promised to do, it's quite mysterious how could he be blamed for an unbalanced budget.

The "secret" is that Reagan cut taxes for all Americans. Indeed, the Reagan administration removed about 40 million adult Americans entirely from the income tax rolls! But, you see, under his system, now known as "Reaganomics", Americans became so much more prosperous and productive that even though they--the rich and the middle class--now paid fewer pennies on the dollar in taxes, they had so many more dollars on which to pay their tax pennies that the federal government coffers overflowed.

The legacy of Ronald Reagan is knowing that 10% or 15% of prosperity is worth more than 40% or 55% of nothing! The legacy of Ronald Reagan is having a vision for America, not a self-centered fantasy.

As far as the military goes, not only did the Soviet Union crumble largely because they tried, and failed, to keep up with American military expansion in the 1980s, but it was not coincidence that the moment Reagan even stuck his big toe into the Oval Office, the Iranians freed the hostages that President Carter could not free in over 440 days in office.

No, the Left and Emperor Dumbo don't want you to read any Ronald Reagan biography. It would undermine their lies. And it would make their silly little followers know what a real man and a real President are supposed to be like.
