Americans Against Abortion
We at American Conservative Values are generally against abortion. For we have acquainted ourselves with the facts about abortion, and although this highly controversial issue (for many people, including some Democrats) is always cast by abortion rights groups (who use the very deceptive name “Pro Choice”) in the light of “a woman’s right to choose” what to do with her own body, it is quite obvious that there is far more to this story than that.
Since 1973, there have been over 50 million abortions performed in the United States. On average, one million abortions of all kinds are performed every year in this nation. These numbers do not tell a story of women making emotionally difficult choices and considering factors such as the baby’s probable childhood conditions or medical conditions which may seriously threaten their lives if they go through with the birth. These numbers reflect the true, sick, twisted reality of modern Liberal feminism: that abortion is to be used as birth control when other methods fail…or when the woman chose to just have sex without even caring about contraception. Abortion is to be used so that a woman can be “just like a man”—which to the perverted modern feminist mind means, permitted to be sexually irresponsible in all ways.
The two original American feminists, who are female heroines, were against abortion, and in fact viewed it as “child-murder”. Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Stanton would never be able to countenance what goes on with abortion today. Stanton wrote, "When we consider that women are treated as property, it is degrading to women that we should treat our children as property to be disposed of as we see fit."
The sickest, most twisted mind that we know of regarding abortion is that of President Barack Hussein Obama.
The Facts About Obama on Abortion
- Obama supports the repeal of the Hyde Amendment, a law which guards pro-life citizens against being forced to pay for any abortion that is not being carried out because of incest, rape, or unusually great threat to the life of the mother. The pro-abortion (as "pro-choice" should be called) group NARAL hates the Hyde Amendment because they say it "forces about half the women who would otherwise have abortions to carry unintended pregnancies to term and bear children against their wishes instead."
- On January 23rd, 2009, the 36th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision, Obama signed legislation reversing the “Mexico City Policy”, which had stated that the U.S. will never use taxpayer money to fund international planned parenthood groups that support or perform abortions.
- Obama still has not made good, but we are sure he eventually will, on what he promised would be the “very first thing” he would do once in office-- "sign the Freedom of Choice Act" (FOCA), which Cardinal Justin Rigali of Philadelphia has summed up as the "right to abort a fully developed child in the final weeks for undefined 'health' reasons". FOCA says that any woman is allowed to abort her child for virtually any conceivable reasons at any time throughout the entire nine months of her pregnancy. Had a bad day? Had a fight with your boyfriend? Just abort that fetus—or that fully formed baby. You’ll feel so much better.
- Obama is well known for having called an unwanted baby a female’s “punishment”, and for this reason he supports something that even many pro-abortion people find disgusting and immoral—partial-birth abortion. If a doctor attempts to abort a baby when it is close to being born, and the abortion doesn’t work and the child is emerging alive from the womb, Obama says that the doctor is within legal rights to kill it—on the spot.
- Obama supports all legislation that would legalize the killing of a new baby that is born alive and separated from the mother—all she has to do is decide in those moments that she doesn’t want it or never did, and according our illustrious mad Lib President the doctors should have the legal right to commit infanticide. Fittingly, the Obama Administration lied about this blatantly until documented evidence was brought to light proving that Obama does indeed support infanticide and the removal of federal laws protecting fully birthed children from post-partum “abortion”.
- Obama, as a Senator, co-sponsored a bill that would permit and condone the mass production cloning of human embryos which would then be killed by biomedical research. And, get this—it would be mandatory that they be killed; it would be a severely punished federal crime for any woman to have one of the embryos implanted in her womb and made into a full-fledged human baby.
- Obama has turned against his own party by staunchly refusing to support the Pregnant Women Support Act, the Democrats for Life group’s signature bill which intends to reduce abortions via the provision of assistance to women who are facing crisis pregnancies.
Emperor Dumbo, tell us the truth (for once): do you perhaps feel that the world would be a better place if your own mother had not been against abortion? Is that why you support these loathsome policies?
